BME Enclosures (NI) Ltd was initially founded to provide a reliable supply of GRP Enclosures to our sister company BME Electrical (NI) Ltd who were experiencing first-hand the difficulty in obtaining enclosures to specific sizes, designs and most importantly lead times that kept with contract programs.

Our enclosures were primarily built for HV and LV substations, housing High Voltage and Low Voltage switchgear, transformers and feeder pillars for floodlighting projects that our sister company was carrying out.

It soon become evident that sourcing and supplying Bespoke GRPs to contract program lead times was a widespread issue within the industry. Therefore, we decided to expand BME Enclosures (NI) Ltd to supply our enclosures to other trades and businesses, both within and outside the construction industry.

All our enclosures are manufactured bespoke to meet customer design specification and application requirements, with a variety of colours, locking systems available to choose from.

All of our enclosures are manufactured with a double skin GRP/12mm ply/12mm ply/GRP composite construction throughout all walls and roof to create a sturdy, reliable and secure enclosure.

Additionally, alongside our sister company, we can offer fully fitted out enclosures with lighting, power and switchboards etc installed to match the exact specifications of our clients. This provides a cost-effective and time saving installation time on site, especially through adverse weather conditions.
